Welcome to the Pfunders valley

The ultimate high: The Pfunderer Höhenweg high trail spans nearly 72 kilometres and 6,000 metres of elevation, divided into six stages. Highlights include the Wilde Kreuzspitze as well as the Edelrauthütte and Tiefrastenhütte mountain huts.

250 metres of elevation, six kilometres in length and around two hours of walking time: an ideal outing for the whole family. Along the way: traditional mountain farms, a viewing platform, a time museum and even a wooden xylophone.

Lots of variety across 55 kilometres of slopes, snow-sure and set on a sunny south-facing side with Dolomite views: perfect for beginners, pros, snowboarders and families.

Allow around four and a half hours for this varied, moderately difficult circular hike. It leads to alpine huts and viewpoints overlooking the Pfunders Valley.

Deep green landscapes, glacier views and an alpine challenge: a tour to the Napfspitze from the Dun car park at the end of the valley is a highlight for experienced hikers.

Mountain lakes have a magic of their own - and on this hike for experienced walkers, you’ll pass several remote alpine lakes. Starting point: the Dun car park in the upper Pfunderer Valley.

Running and exploring the mountains at the same time: trail runners get especially close to nature. This route in Pfunders starts at the Dun car park and leads to Lake Eisbrugg and on to the Edelrauthütte - for experienced runners only.
