Gitschberg Jochtal cable cars

Family parks, hiking trails, mountain huts - right at the heart of the action

Glide up with ease, make your way down at your own pace - and in between lies a day full of unforgettable moments. Our cable cars carry you off into the adventures. The mountain stations of the Gitschberg Nesselbahn and the Jochtalbahn sit high above 2,000 metres. Just a short walk away: two family parks and the outdoor escape trail. Stay nearby or set off on a high alpine tour - everything is possible. 

In peak season, its not just pulses that get higher. The Gitschberg chairlift takes you up to 2,510 metres. From the Nesselbahn mountain station, it’s just a 20-minute walk to the lift. Don’t miss the panoramic platform: look through the telescope and take in around 500 peaks across the Dolomites and the Pfunderer mountains. And with the Brixen Südtirol Card, many services are included - among them free cable car rides at selected times.

Arrive, switch off, breathe in the mountain air - getting there is effortless with the cable car. And then the real adventures begin. Set out on scenic hiking trails, head to panoramic viewpoints that stretch to the horizon or unwind in one of the family adventure parks.
