The peak of fun

Two mountain lifts, twice the possibilities: Gitschberg Jochtal and the Plose take you high above it all

Why do we keep recommending a ride on our cable cars? Because it’s one of the most beautiful ways to discover the Isarco and Puster Valleys from above - with panoramic views of the Dolomites included. Heading for the heights is easy, whether with a stroller, limited mobility or a bike. At the top, a whole world awaits: gentle and challenging hikes, fresh mountain air, plenty of space for families and welcoming mountain huts serving that distinctive South Tyrolean cuisine. And best of all: with the Brixen Südtirol Card, rides on the cable cars are free at selected times.

Gitschberg Jochtal Cable Cars

A quick way to mountain bliss: the lifts of Gitschberg Jochtal take you up to over 2,000 metres. The perfect starting point for both ambitious hikes and relaxed family adventures in nature - in short, for a wonderful day in the mountains.

Ride Up for Free

Once a day - with the Brixen Südtirol Card

If you’d like to enjoy the view from above without hiking all the way up, the Brixen Südtirol Card lets you take the cable cars to the top at selected times - completely free. Simply ask for the card at participating accommodation and enjoy a range of benefits
