Cheese, chestnuts, herbs and so much more

Regional and authentic: when it comes to local products, we never compromise

When it comes to regional products, we are truly spoiled for choice. Small artisan producers craft cheese, yoghurt and other dairy specialities. Beekeepers harvest delicious honey after a long summer. Winegrowers produce wines full of character. Chestnut groves line the trails along the way. Herbs grow in the meadows, and on the Villanderer Alm, the mountain pine, or Latsche, is prized for its fragrant and healing essential oil. And then there are the apples, the bread, the speck and the Barbian plum. So many regional flavours. So much artisanal craftsmanship.
