The Vals High Trail is a varied hike with wide views and several secured sections. The route also takes you to the traditional Fane Alm and is particularly suitable for hikers who want to combine nature with more challenging passages.
The starting point is the Jochtal mountain station. From there, follow trail no. 9 across the Valler Jöchl to the unmanaged Rotenstein Alm and continue to the Peachenjoch. Trail no. 9 then leads downhill to the Fane Alm alpine village with its traditional huts.
For the return to the Jochtal valley station, follow the Milk Trail.

Parking is available at the Jochtal valley station, where the cable car takes you up to the mountain station and the starting point of the hike.
