The starting point is the Dun parking lot at 1,450 metres. From there, follow trail no. 13 uphill to Bodenalm and continue to Eisbruggalm. The trail climbs steadily to Eisbruggsee lake at 2,355 metres and the Edelrauthütte, where you can take a short break and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains.
From the Edelrauthütte, trail no. 18 continues to Valsscharte at 2,451 metres, the highest point of the route. The descent leads via Valsalm back to Bodenalm and finally to the Dun parking lot, the finishing point of the tour.
