You start at the Dun parking lot in Pfunders at 1,445 metres and follow trail no. 13 towards the Bodenalm, continuing to Eisbruggsee. The clear mountain lake is ideal for a short break.
The route then leads to the Edelrauthütte at 2,545 metres and continues to Eisbruggjoch. From there, the ascent follows trail no. 6 to the Napfspitze at 2,704 metres. The trail is well marked and presents no major difficulties. From the summit, there are sweeping views of the surrounding glaciers and mountain peaks.
For the descent, either follow the same route via the Edelrauthütte, Eisbruggsee lake and Bodenalm or take the alternative route via the Gampielalm. The tour finishes back at the Dun parking lot.
