Brixen holiday region
Culture and nature - what else?
In the Brixen holiday region, the best of two worlds come together. There’s Brixen, the oldest town in Tyrol, where culture and history are still very much alive. And there’s nature right on the doorstep, with countless opportunities in and around the town and its surrounding villages - over 400 kilometres of hiking trails connecting towns and mountains. The Plose is another place for special moments: sunny slopes and toboggan runs in winter, varied hiking trails and bike routes in summer - all set against the backdrop of the Dolomites.
Tradition and modernity come together in the cuisine and the wonderful local white wines, in the architecture and in creative exhibitions. And yes, the sun shines here most of the time - around 2,000 hours a year.
Spring and autumn, summer and winter - spending time here is special all year round.
