A little hero, a red balloon and the historic façade of the Hofburg as the stage for fascinating worlds: from 26 November 2026 to 9 January 2027, OOPS returns to Brixen with a brand-new story.
In OOPS 2 – A Light and Music Show for UNICEF, Oops once again sets off in search of his red balloon. His journey takes him through surprising real and imaginary worlds: into a museum, back to Ancient Egypt and, finally, all the way into outer space.
The walls of the Hofburg are transformed into a spectacular canvas of light, colour and movement. Impressive projections blend with music by Giorgio Moroder to tell a story of friendship, diversity, courage and hope.
The new show is created by the French light artists Spectaculaires – Allumeurs d’Images. It follows on from the success of the first Brixen OOPS production, which won Gold at the 2026 Eventex Awards.
For around 20 minutes, the heart of Brixen becomes the setting for an experience that delights children and adults alike – imaginative, moving and full of unexpected visual moments.
Light art that makes a difference
A good cause is also at the heart of the show: for every ticket sold, €1 is donated to UNICEF, with €0.50 donated for every child’s ticket. The donations support WASH Zambia, a project working to improve access to clean drinking water and sanitation for children and families, helping to create better living conditions and healthier communities.
