Begin your relaxed circular hike at the Jochtal cable car valley station in Vals, where you'll find plenty of parking options. The well-marked Valser Loop Trail guides you through a beautiful mix of nature, peaceful village scenery, and impressive mountain views.
The trail starts gently uphill on a paved path along the forest edge. Along the way, you’ll enjoy lovely views of Vals and the surrounding Pfunderer mountains. Just below the Luckner Hütte (open only in winter), the route turns left, leading across a small meadow and through the village center, passing the Vereinshaus on the way.
From there, the trail continues gently downhill or flat, passing scenic meadows, shady forest sections, charming farms, and local homes. You'll cross the road near the small chapel by Hotel Masl. Along the route, thoughtfully designed movement and mindfulness stations invite you to pause, stretch, and enjoy your surroundings.
At the end, the path follows the babbling Valler stream, guiding you back to the starting point at the Jochtal cable car valley station.
