Start at the Mühlbach train station and head towards Spinges. The road takes you up to the Bunker recreation area, where the asphalt ends. Here, the Forest Trail No. 9 begins, leading you to the Anratter Hut in Jochtal (towards the Jochtal mountain station). Some steep sections will test your strength, and if you're not in top shape, you might need to push your bike.
But it’s worth it, as the Steiner Mandl Panoramic Platform offers you a 360° view of the stunning mountain landscape – a true highlight!
Afterwards, ride back a bit (to about the Anratter Hut) and then follow the forest path towards Nockalm. At the next junction, turn left and continue downhill to Valsegg, below Vals. Follow the path until you reach the reservoir, then briefly switch to hiking path until you arrive at Untereggerhof. From there, take the access road into the forest and continue on the forest path. Cross a wooden bridge, and then follow the paved Valserweg back to Mühlbach.
