The tour to the Kempspitze follows moderately difficult mountain trails to the hut, with more demanding sections shortly before the summit. Waterfalls, alpine meadows and Tiefrasten lake make the ascent varied. The tour is suitable for experienced hikers looking for a sporting challenge.

How to get there
Take the “Bressanone / Val Pusteria” exit from the A22 motorway and follow the SS49 main road to Vandoies/Vintl. Then turn left and follow the SP40 road to Terento/Terenten.
Where to park
A large parking lot is available at the Winnebachtal near Terenten, the ideal starting point for this hike.
