Start at the large parking lot in the Winnebachtal and follow the wide forest trail marked No. 23. The initial ascent is gentle, leading you to the Astnerbergalm. From there, the trail becomes steeper, taking you past the impressive waterfall. A flatter section follows, guiding you to the Tiefrastenhütte and the picturesque Tiefrastensee.
The climb to the Kempspitze (2,704 m) begins from the hut along Trail No. 25. This section requires surefootedness and a head for heights, making it suitable only for experienced hikers. Via the western flank, you’ll reach the summit, where breathtaking panoramic views await.
The descent follows the same route as the ascent, leading you back to the starting point.
