Start at the train station in Mühlbach and follow the Puster Valley Cycle Path on a flat and even trail to Vintl (5 km). If you wish, extend your run to Obervintl (8 km), St. Sigmund (12 km), or even to Kiens (15 km) or Bruneck (25 km).

For the return, you can either run back or take advantage of the convenient connections via train or bus (Line 401). The route is straightforward and runs mostly on paved paths (asphalt). Depending on the chosen distance, a solid fitness level is recommended.
