The FORESTIS is situated in absolute isolation at 1,800 m above sea level on the southern slope of the Ploseberg, surrounded by dense forests. Far away from everything familiar, the FORESTIS sees itself as a protective refuge, where the values of simplicity, naturalness and time can be directly experienced by people again. This is made possible by nature and in particular by the natural phenomena that were decisive a hundred years ago in the Austrian monarchy's decision to build a pulmonary sanatorium here.
