In 1760, a new Baroque church was built. It is a free interpretation of the Cathedral of Brixen and features a polygonal apse, a transept with round-arched windows and a barrel vault with blind lunettes. The main ceiling fresco (1763) was painted by Josef Zoller, a pupil of Paul Troger, and is framed by a Rococo stucco cornice. Above the choir gallery is a depiction of Vintl. The saints Urban, Anthony of Padua and Florian are portrayed in the sky, while Meransen can be seen in the background. The main fresco depicts the Glorification of the Rosary. The side altars feature two paintings by Johann Mitterwurzer from 1770, showing the two penitents Saint Peter and Mary Magdalene.
