The Fane Alm is a small, traditional alpine village situated at 1,739 metres above sea level, with mountain huts, hay barns, livestock stables, a small church and three alpine inns. Surrounded by green meadows, it is considered one of the most beautiful alpine pastures in South Tyrol.

The Fane Alm is also a rewarding hiking destination in winter. The Zingerlehütte and Gattererhütte are open and managed during the winter season as well.
