For more than 900 years, the Augustinian Canons have lived and worked here in the service of faith, education and culture.

We are also happy to organise an exclusive aperitif in a special location within the abbey. Naturally, you can also book a tasting of the excellent wines from the abbey’s cellar as an enjoyable conclusion to your meeting.
By car: take the motorway exit Brixen, then follow the direction to Brixen. From there the Abbey of Novacella is signposted with brown signs. First turn right towards Vahrn/Varna, which you will reach after about 3 km. Follow the main road downhill through the village. At Hotel Löwenhof, turn left towards Neustift/Novacella. After about 1 km you will reach Neustift Abbey. Free parking is available right after the Eisack bridge.
By public transport: take the train to Brixen railway station, then continue by bus: Citybus line 2 or 3 to the stop “Kloster Neustift”.
Alternatively, from the railway station, take bus 401 towards Bruneck/Brunico and get off at the “Neustift / Hotel Pacher” stop. From there, it is just a 5-minute walk to the abbey.
