First aid is widely known, but few people are aware that there is also Last Aid. While first aid saves lives, Last Aid accompanies people on their final journey.
The Last Aid Course offered by the South Tyrolean Health Service provides practical knowledge on how to accompany and care for people in the final phase of their lives. Through information, compassionate conversations, practical advice and opportunities to share experiences, the course aims to help participants overcome fears and inhibitions when dealing with this sensitive topic.
