It is a precious habitat, home to both people and wildlife – a place where we can breathe deeply and reconnect with ourselves. And it is exactly this space we want to protect. How, you might ask?
The Radlsee refuge is located high above the Eisack Valley on the legendary Radlsee lake in the basin between the Königangerspitze and Hundskopf peaks. On the way, we learn a lot about alpine herbs, mountain farming and the formation of the Alps and Dolomites. The moderately difficult hike is worthwhile with its breathtaking mountain panorama and relaxing tranquillity on the mountain.
Route: Via hiking trail no. 14 and no. 10 to the Radlseehütte, same way back
Start: 9.30 am Kühhof car park, hiking bus possible, walking time approx. 5 hours, basic fitness required, height difference 850 m, return at 4.30 pm P. Kühhof.

By bus: no. 343/342 to Latzfons, possibility to take the hiking bus at 09.00 am to the car park Kühhof.
By car: via Feldthurns to Latzfons to the chargeable parking lot Kühhof.
