It is a precious habitat, home to both people and wildlife – a place where we can breathe deeply and reconnect with ourselves. And it is exactly this space we want to protect. How, you might ask?
Equipped with a gold pan, we try to wash a few tiny gold flakes out of the soil material. Afterwards we visit the mine tunnel where the gold is found.

Route
In the village center of Villanders at the DESPAR turn right towards Villanderer Alm, then about 5 km above Villanders in the "Zilderer Kehre" turn right at the large billboard. After about 500 m there is a small parking lot. From there walk about 300 m to the entrance of the mine.
With the line bus no. 345 from Klausen via Villanders to the stop Bergwerk. From there walk about 800 m to the entrance.
