The **Alps Move** programme at Novacella Abbey brings together contemporary dance, performance, music, video and visual art. The different works explore themes such as memory, nature, the human experience, vulnerability, trust and the relationship between past and present. The performances enter into a direct dialogue with the historic spaces and the distinctive atmosphere of the abbey. From Castel Sant’Angelo and the former carriage house to the Abbey Library, the various locations themselves become spaces of artistic experience, where architecture, history and contemporary performance interact.
