The winter hike to Mosereck is a relaxed route in Terenten. The trail leads through the winter landscape, past the earth pyramids and to sunny resting spots. The hike is suitable if you want to combine peaceful surroundings with exercise in the snow.
The winter hike starts in the centre of Terenten. From there, follow the signs for the Mill Trail heading north. The route passes the Earth Pyramids and the historic mills before reaching the car park above the mills.
You then continue for a short distance along the paved road before turning onto the groomed Forest Road No. 8B. The trail climbs steadily through the snow-covered landscape to the unmanaged Moseralm Hut.
Here, you can take a break on the natural sun terraces and enjoy the peaceful winter surroundings. The trail is also suitable for tobogganing, making it a great outing for the whole family. Return along the same route to the centre of Terenten, where the hike ends.
