This family-friendly winter hike leads across the wide Rodeneck-Lüsen Alp. Along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views, discover the artworks on the Creation Trail and stop at several mountain huts. The route is ideal for a relaxed winter day.
The winter hike starts at the Zumis parking area, which you can reach via Rodeneck. From there, follow the wide forest road no. 2 to the Pianer Kreuz chapel. To extend the route, you can continue uphill to Astjoch. Alternatively, take the Creation Trail no. 4, which runs parallel through the forest on the left. Along the trail, several artworks depict the biblical story of Creation.
The route is suitable for the whole family. Along the way, you will find several places to stop for refreshments as well as cross-country ski trails.

The Almbus (no. 415) brings you directly from the Mühlbach train station.
From the petrol station in the centre of Mühlbach take the street down in direction to Rodeneck. Pass by the villages St. Pauls e Nauders to the house “Spritzenhütte” (old wooden house). Turn left and go up to the parking lot Zumis.
