The winter hike to the Anratter Hut follows a well-groomed trail through the snow-covered forest above Spinges. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and pass several alpine huts. At the destination, the Anratter Hut invites you to take a relaxing break and enjoy traditional South Tyrolean specialities.
The winter hike to the Anratter Hut starts at the Bunker recreation area parking lot in Spinges. Right next to the starting point, you will find an old bunker, a reminder of the village's history.
From there, follow the wide, groomed winter hiking trail marked No. 9. The trail is regularly maintained by a snow groomer and climbs gently through the snow-covered forest. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
After about two hours, you reach the Oberegger Stream at an altitude of 1,730 metres. Continue past the Hinterleitner Hut and the Weber Hut. After another 30 minutes, you arrive at the Anratter Hut at 1,815 metres, the destination of the winter hike. Here you can warm up in the cosy parlour and enjoy traditional South Tyrolean specialities.
Return along the same route to the Bunker recreation area parking lot in Spinges, where the winter hike ends.
