It is a precious habitat, home to both people and wildlife – a place where we can breathe deeply and reconnect with ourselves. And it is exactly this space we want to protect. How, you might ask?
The starting point is at the Jochtal valley station parking lot at 1,374 metres. From there, follow trail no. 10 towards the Nockalm. The route continues via the Valler Jöchl at 1,931 metres and along trail no. 9 to the Rotensteiner Höhenweg. You then reach the Peachenjöchl at 2,203 metres, the highest point of the route.
The descent leads to the Fane Alm at 1,739 metres. From there, follow Milk Trail no. 17 back to the Jochtal valley station.
