It is a precious habitat, home to both people and wildlife – a place where we can breathe deeply and reconnect with ourselves. And it is exactly this space we want to protect. How, you might ask?
Look forward to a varied snowshoe hike in the Pfunderer mountains. From the Terner Joch, you can enjoy extensive views stretching from the Zillertal Alps in the north to the Dolomites in the south. The tour combines outdoor activity with impressive mountain panoramas.
This leisurely snowshoe hike takes you to one of the most panoramic peaks in the Pfunderer mountains. From the car park at Schneeberg at 1,550 metres, follow woodland trail no. 5, which is also used as a toboggan run in winter, to the Lower Pertinger Alm hut at 1,860 metres. Continue straight ahead in a northerly direction. From the treeline, the route leads mainly along a gentle ridge to the summit of Am Joch at 2,405 metres.
