The hike to Tiefrastenhütte and Tiefrastensee lake combines breathtaking nature with alpine culinary delights. The hut is a popular stop on the Pfunderer Höhenweg and is ideal for hikers seeking tranquility and panoramic views.
Start your hike from the parking area in Winnebachtal Follow the wide forest path (marked 23), which gently ascends into the valley, leading you to the Astnerberg Alm (open from May to the end of October). From the hut, the path becomes steeper and takes you up to the waterfall, where a more relaxed section begins. Further up, a moderate ascent brings you to the Tiefrastenhütte (no rest day) and the picturesque Tiefrastensee lake.
The return follows the same route as the ascent.
