The starting point is Rodenegg Castle. From there, descend into the Rienz Gorge and continue through the rocky landscape to the Natz apple-growing plateau. The route then leads to the Niedersthof and the Kreuzstöckl before returning at a relaxed pace to Rodeneck. Alternatively, you can return from Natz by public transport.
