The starting point of the hike is Rodenegg Castle. From there, the trail descends into the Rienz Gorge, passing through its rocky landscape. It then climbs to the Natz apple plateau. The route continues to Niedersthof and Kreuzstöckl before returning to Rodenegg, the end point of the circular hike. Alternatively, you can return from Natz by public transport.
