The Elves Trail allows children and adults to explore nature in a playful way. The three-kilometre route along the edge of the forest near Obervintl features interactive stations and viewpoints, making it particularly suitable for families.
The starting point of the hike is the parking lot next to the church in Obervintl. From there, follow the Elf Trail, which features a variety of discovery stations for both children and adults. Along the way, eleven interactive stations invite you to read animal tracks, observe forest birds and explore the life inside a bee hotel. The waterfall is an ideal place for a break. From the rocky viewpoint, you can enjoy beautiful views over Vintl before the trail continues beneath the treetops, where the “elves” accompany you on your journey through the forest.
The return route passes a dry stone wall, where you can observe local wildlife. At around three kilometres in length, the Elf Trail is easy to walk and especially suitable for families with children. The hike ends back at the parking lot next to the church in Obervintl.
