The Elves Trail allows children and adults to explore nature in a playful way. The three-kilometre route along the edge of the forest near Obervintl features interactive stations and viewpoints, making it particularly suitable for families.
The starting point is the parking lot by the church in Obervintl. From there, follow the Elf Trail, which features a variety of discovery stations for children and adults. At eleven interactive stations, you can identify animal tracks, observe woodland birds and explore life in the insect hotel. The waterfall is a suitable place to take a break. From the rocky viewing platform, you can enjoy a view of Vintl before continuing beneath the treetops and exploring the forest together with the “elves”.
The return route passes a dry-stone wall where you can observe local wildlife. At around three kilometres long, the Elf Trail is easy to walk and particularly suitable for children.
