The tour to the Terner Joch at 2,405 metres is suitable as a leisurely snowshoe hike or ski tour and offers extensive panoramic views. From the summit, you can see Haunold, the Three Peaks, Monte Cristallo and Hohe Gaisl to the east. The panorama also includes the Sennes and Fanes mountains, the Sella massif, the Puez-Geisler group and Peitlerkofel. Schlern rises to the south-west, while the Zillertal Alps lie to the north and the Dureck and Rieserferner groups to the north-east.
