It is a precious habitat, home to both people and wildlife – a place where we can breathe deeply and reconnect with ourselves. And it is exactly this space we want to protect. How, you might ask?
The hike to the Seefeldspitze is an extended tour that requires good endurance. Along the route, you pass three mountain lakes that are ideal for a short break. From the summit, you can enjoy extensive views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
You start in the Altfasstal valley and walk at a leisurely pace to the Wieserhütte or Pranterstadlhütte. The ascent to the Seefeldspitze begins here. The trail follows the Seefeldbach stream to the Großer Seefeldsee at almost 2,300 metres, where you can take a short break.
From the lake, the route continues to the unmanaged Seefeldalm. After the hut, the trail veers slightly to the left. Follow the signs for the Seefeldspitze through alpine landscapes and along well-maintained paths to the summit.
