Start in the village centre of Terenten and follow the Meditation Trail of the Seven Sorrows of Mary. The route leads to St. Zeno in Pein, the oldest church in Terenten. Along the way, seven steles invite you to pause and reflect. They commemorate key events in Mary’s life, from Simeon’s prophecy to the burial of Jesus.
The trail is easy to walk and leads through peaceful natural surroundings. St. Zeno Church dates back to the 12th century and was built on the site of a prehistoric settlement, combining spiritual significance with a long history.
