Start in Mühlbach and follow the Lindenweg (Trail No. 12) up towards Meransen. The trail gently climbs along the village edge and leads through forests and meadows, offering beautiful views of Mühlbach and the Plose mountains below.
About halfway, you’ll reach the Jungfrauenrast (Maiden’s Rest), a small commemorative spot with an interesting legend. The path then continues through flower-filled meadows up to sunny Meransen, whose church is dedicated to the Holy Virgins. For the return, you can take the cable car back to Mühlbach and enjoy a relaxing ride to end your hike.
