The hike to the Hochgrubbachspitze is a varied mountain tour for experienced hikers. The route takes you past waterfalls, alpine pastures and a mountain lake. From the summit, you can enjoy extensive views of the surrounding mountains.
Take the “Bressanone / Val Pusteria” exit from the A22 motorway and follow the SS49 main road to Vandoies/Vintl. Then turn left and follow the SP40 road to Terento/Terenten.
Where to park
Parking is available at the Winnebachtal parking lot in Terenten, the ideal starting point for this mountain tour.
