The starting point is in the centre of Terenten. From there, run for approximately 1 kilometre along the Pustertal Sun Road towards Bruneck until you reach the Neuwirt. Opposite the guesthouse, turn right onto the small asphalt road, cross the bridge and continue through the forest to the Guggenhof farm. A short forest section then leads back to an asphalt road, which takes you to the hamlet of Pichlern.
For the return to the village centre, you can follow either forest trail no. 3B or the pavement along the main road.
