This circuit walk leads from the vil lage of Fiumes through the Naz-Sciaves high plateau. The small and romantic St. Magdalena Kirche church on the mound in Fiumes is one of the most beautiful places of worship in the region.
In Fiumes (898 m) route no. 1 runs northward by the church mound and through the forest, followed shortly afterwards by route no. 3 to the Waldertor viewing point. Here you will have a fantastic view of the imposing Rodenegg castle with its frescos from the Iwein Cycle, which is well worth seeing. The route continues to Fruhnwald forest in Naz, with its late Gothic style parish church to the St. Philipp and St. Jakob. Its powerful red covered church tower can be seen from far away. For the return route, follow the street in the direction of Fiumes. 200 m past Naz turn left onto trail no. 1 and start the return journey via Sommersürs biotope back to the starting point.
