The starting point of the hike is the parking lot at the Bunker recreation area in Spinges. Right next to the car park is an old bunker. From here, follow the forest road marked Trail No. 9, which climbs gently through the forest.
After about two hours, you reach the Oberegger Stream at an elevation of 1,730 metres, passing the Hinterleitner Hut and the Weber Hut along the way. After another 30 minutes, you arrive at the Anratter Hut at 1,815 metres. The Anratter Hut is the destination of the hike. Return along the same route. The hike ends back at the parking lot of the Bunker recreation area in Spinges.
