Start in the Mühlental valley and follow Trail No. 22 to the Englalm (1,825 m, not serviced). From here, the trail becomes steeper: the climb to the Eidechsspitze (2,730 m) demands good fitness but rewards you with a breathtaking 360° view of the surrounding mountains.
The descent is challenging and suitable only for experienced hikers. It leads you past the Kompfoss-See, following Trail No. 22 back to the valley. Alternatively, you can return via the same path you took to ascend.
