Explore the Rodeneck-Lüsen Alpine Pastures by mountain bike and enjoy vast alpine meadows, breathtaking views, and cozy mountain huts. This tour is perfect for nature lovers seeking a blend of gentle challenge and relaxing stops along the way.
Start at the Zumis parking lot and follow the well-marked forest road. Pass by the information board on your left as you easily conquer the first few meters of elevation. After about 1.5 km, you’ll reach the first large clearing – here, the view opens up over green meadows all the way to the impressive Peitlerkofel.
Passing the Roner Alm, you briefly enter the forest before the entire mountain ridge with its wide alpine pastures opens up in front of you. The forest road leads you right through this landscape, and with a gentle incline, you’ll reach the junction for the Rastner Hut. A little further ahead, the Starkenfeld Hut awaits you, featuring a large sun terrace and views of the Plose and the peaks of the Puez-Geisler Group.
The return follows the same route.
