Explore the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alm by mountain bike and enjoy wide alpine meadows, beautiful views and cosy mountain huts. This tour is ideal if you want to combine a gentle sporting challenge with relaxing stops along the way.
The starting point is at the Zumis parking lot. From there, follow the well-signposted forest road and pass the information board on the left. After around 1.5 kilometres, you will reach the first large clearing, with views across the meadows towards the Peitlerkofel.
After passing the Roner Alm, the route leads briefly through the forest. The ridge then opens up, revealing its wide alpine pastures. Follow the gently ascending forest road to the turn-off for the Rastnerhütte. A little further straight ahead, you will reach the Starkenfeldhütte, with a large sun terrace and views of the Plose and the peaks of the Puez-Odle Group.
