The winter hike from the Jochtal cable car mountain station to the Steinermandl leads via the Ochsenalm Hut to the summit at 2,118 metres. At the top, you are rewarded with a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
The winter hike begins at the Jochtal cable car mountain station at 2,006 metres. The Jochtal cable car takes you comfortably to the starting point. At the mountain station, the Jochtal Mountain Restaurant offers a convenient place to stop for refreshments.
From there, follow Trail No. 1A to the nearby Ochsenalm Hut, then continue to the broad summit of the Steinermandl at 2,118 metres, the destination of the winter hike. From the top, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Return along the same route to the Jochtal cable car mountain station, where the winter hike ends.
