The Gufidaun Village Museum invites visitors to discover the rural life and culture of South Tyrol in times gone by. The museum focuses on three main themes: rural everyday life, traditional crafts and local art.

Highlights include an original historic smoke kitchen, traditional farm furniture and everyday objects arranged in authentic displays. A fully equipped shoemaker’s workshop offers fascinating insights into this versatile traditional craft.

A special feature is the Telfner Corner, dedicated to the painter Josef Telfner from Merano, who lived in Gufidaun for many years. He captured the village and its inhabitants in numerous watercolours and portraits.

Opposite the fire station or village square, directly in front of the museum.

Exit the motorway at Chiusa. Just before the roundabout, turn towards Gufidaun. Follow the road and keep right to continue uphill towards Gufidaun.
